Returns

Returns Policy

Electrical parts cannot be returned.

Other unused items can be returned within one year for a full refund less return shipping charges. Items must be returned in their original packaging and must be in resalable condition for a full credit. In the event that the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we will pay the return shipping costs.

If the item arrives damaged please let us know immediately so that we can send you an undamaged item and file a damage claim with the shipper. Damage claims often are limited in time and we cannot be responsible for unreported loss or damage.

You should expect to receive your return credit within a week after we have received the returned item(s) in good condition.

 

Return Process - with Account

If you need to return an item and have an account with us:

  1. Go to "My Account" and sign in.  
  2. Select "Completed Orders." 
  3. Click on "Return item(s)" for the order you would like to return.  
  4. Select the requested "Qty to Return" for the item(s) you wish to return.
  5. Select a "Reason" and a "Return Action." 
  6. Click on "Submit Return Request".

We will send instructions for the return generally the following business day.

 

Return Process - Guest Checkout

If you need to return an item and used Guest Checkout to place your original order with us:

Send an email to returns@homesergeant.com with the following information:

    • Enter "Return Request" in the subject
    • Include your Order Number
    • List the items and quantites to be returned
    • State the reason for the return
    • Let us know how you would like us to issue your refund once approved
    • Include any other comments

We will send instructions for the return generally the following business day.
