A little grouchy.
I truly believe this is a great product, but with the price going up so drastically it really takes away from the ability of retired folks to keep purchasing them. Since they are made oversees I can see why the price went up, but somewhere along the line these have to come down in price. I will not accept cheaper versions of these because of their quality and therefore I guess I will be stuck buying these.

Expensive Long-lasting Air Filter
I use this Air filter in my Carrier AC/Furnace. Based upon the dust I find in them, these filters seem to filter the dust from the air satisfactorily. They are expensive filters ($80-90 for one and I order two at a time) but need to be replaced only once a year under the operating conditions found in my house. Easy to replace. Home Sergeant had the best price I could find; they were easy to order on line; delivery was as scheduled; filters come "double-boxed' and were in good condition on arrival.
