Sergeant "made" a box to place the [two] Carrier filter boxes in. Ultimately, with the "double boxing, some rough handling by UPS did not damage the filters even though one corner of the outer box was smooshed (wrinkled). My HVAC dealer wanted $25 more per filter 'plus' $5 shipping plus state&local tax,,, about 33% more... Very happy
