I change filters myself. I see what it captures. All of the EXFlex filters are available in both MERV 10 and MERV 13. We sell both. While MERV 10 is good for most people, MERV 13 may be better for households with allergies, smokers, pets, etc.. Clean Air
Haven't installed new filter yet, but have been using this same one for many years and it always meets expectations. I was very happy with the competitive pricing as the local HVAC company charges at least 2X the cost of the one I purchased from Homesergeant, and then I would have to drive to pick it up.

FIL does not include end pieces. UNV model does.
Please read better than I did! There are two models, one that comes with the plastic end pieces UNV. One that does not FIL. So, I think I have to order the one with the plastic end pieces and keep the refill one for 6 months from now. I don't know if it fits yet because I don't have the end pieces but gave it 5 star review just because it appears to be a nice filter.
